Once more, Devendra Fadnavis was appointed Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Following the electoral victory of Mahayuti, the BJP leader made a claim. The Governor met with Pawar, Shinde, and Fadnavis. The swearing-in took place in Azad Maidan on December 5. 230 seats were won by Mahayuti. The BJP won 132 seats. Pawar’s NCP won 41 seats, while Shinde’s Shiv Sena won 57.

Finally, it’s official. Following Mahayuti’s overwhelming victory in the state elections, Devendra Fadnavis has returned to his position as chief minister of Maharashtra for the third time. The BJP leader, along with Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, claimed to be the administration.

Following the BJP legislature party meeting, which chose Fadnavis as their leader, the three leaders met with Governor C P Radhakrishnan on Wednesday.

Even though Mahayuti won the title in the November 23 “Maha”bharat in Maharashtra polls, it sparked fresh speculation about the next chief minister. Shinde and Pawar’s positions in the state cabinet are still unknown

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present at the swearing-in ceremony, which is scheduled for December 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Mumbai’s Azad Maidan.

“The Governor has given us time of 5.30pm on December 5 for the swearing in, we have given a letter of smaller parties like Jan Surajya party and other smaller parties, I thank Eknathji Shinde and Ajit Pawar of the NCP for giving a letter to the Governor for giving a letter to the Governor supporting me as the Chief Minister,” Fadnavis said at a subsequent press conference.
 

He added that a collective decision regarding the number of individuals to be sworn in will be made by the stakeholders.
 

A technical agreement will be made between the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, and we will all work together to advance the state. Yesterday, I spoke with Eknath Shinde ji and informed him that the Shiv Sena MLAs wanted him to join the government. I have no doubt that he will respond favorably to us,” Fadnavis stated.
 

The victory of Mahayuti in Maharashtra

With 230 seats in the 288-member legislature, Mahayuti, which is made up of the three main camps of the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde), NCP (Ajit Pawar), and BJP, won a resounding victory. With 132 seats, the saffron party, however, fell short of the 145-seat majority threshold and became the single largest party. Ajit Pawar’s NCP and the Eknath Shinde group won 41 and 57 seats, respectively.
